Kangding Hardware has also looked for a powder metallurgy process, but it cannot be used because of the high nickel content of the Kovar alloy. Later, Kangding Hardware Group so R&D personnel tackled the key problem and came up with the Kovar alloy strip material with stretching technology to make the cavity.
Through the actual inspection, it fully meets the requirements of the guests, and the mass production speed and cost unit price can also meet the requirements of the guests, and the problem is solved satisfactorily.
There is also a Kovar alloy processing cavity, the shape is relatively ordinary, like matchbox, three sides require hollowing, this kind of stretching method can not be completed. It must be done by extrusion with a press of more than 300 tons. Kangding Hardware is still very experienced in the extrusion of Kovar. But this kind of cavity open continuous cold extrusion die is relatively expensive, usually more than 70-80,000 RMB, so you do not have more than 200,000 orders for Kovar alloy parts or need not consider.
