Copper nuts are widely used in mobile phone housing/pen type housing/injection parts/inlaid parts for plastic parts, used as an internal thread. Generally cylindrical embossed to prevent slipping. It is divided into two types of through holes and blind holes, and the surface adopts a straight grain and middle groove scheme. Due to the looseness of the size of the national standard, On the basis of this, we have increased the accuracy requirements, especially the tolerance of the internal thread diameter to avoid leakage during the injection molding process.
This type of copper insert round nut or other material (such as iron or stainless steel) injection insert round nut, although the style is simple, but as the injection molding is still the first choice for inserts.

Ultrasonic copper nut
Ultrasonic copper nutImplantation of internal thread inserts of plastic parts by means of ultrasound, we classify them as ultrasonic nuts, In fact, the so-called ultrasonic nuts are not much different from the hot-melt nuts on our website and are even interchangeable.
Ultrasonic nuts and hot-pressed nuts have some common features:
Plastic parts need to have reserved holes, and the nut has a tapered shape, just like the left picture,
The ultrasonic nut and the hot-melt nut have the same shape as the hot-melt nut, and the leading end of the ultrasonic nut generally has a guide portion to facilitate pressing and embedding into the plastic reserved hole.

On the left, this snail has a size of M3*4.2*5. Its diamond pattern is as beautiful as a diamond. The ultrasonic nut has a variety of patterns, including a diamond pattern (as shown in the figure on the left), a ruled pattern, a chamfered pattern (as shown below), or a combination of various patterns.
However, they all have some commonalities. Their embossing is symmetrical, which is obviously different from that of hot-stamped nuts with right and left twill or single twill.
We know that the principle of ultrasonic implanting is the same as that of hot embedding. The difference is that hot embedment uses plastic to melt or soften by heating nuts. The ultrasonic nut uses plastic (the contact with the nut) to soften by means of high-frequency vibration. Note that it is soft and not yet melted.
Obviously, it has an inherent advantage: the installation speed of the ultrasonic nut is faster because the metal nut needs to be transferred by the metal head to heat the nut before it is pressed into the plastic hole. The ultrasonic method does not require this process.
